1-3 year experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role . Experience in project management and QA methodology Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing Ability to document and troubleshoot errors Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude BE/B.Tech/BCA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field . Experience in Bug tracking tool as Jira/Bugzila Practical and systematic approach to testing. Experience in database and linux . Knowledge of any programming language . Experience in writing test script . Knowledge of Cloud/OpenStack would be an advantage. . Ability to write simple SQL scripts to create and manipulate data. . Proven experience in a true agile delivery environment (Scrum, XP, TDD, BDD). . Experience of NFVI, networking and cloud testing would be an advantage.

Role Responsibilities-What you need to do

· Creation of test designs, test processes, test cases and test data. . Carry out testing as per the defined procedures. · Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures. · Prepare all reports related to software testing carried out. · Understand openstack and perform cloud testing. · Ensure that all tested related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures. · Execute test plans manually and conduct manual functional,regression testing and exploratory testing. · Identifying issues, risks and dependencies escalating and managing where appropriate. · Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle · Responsible for Product Quality, Test Case Design, Defect tracking & Closure · Participate actively in functional, system and regression testing activities · Participate in product functional reviews, test specifications, documentation review
Communicate effectively with developers and QA peers and other stakeholders in the QA organization · Execute planned testing tasks and provide timely and accurate analysis of findings · Utilize analytical skills in determining the root cause of problems · Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. · Interacts with senior internal and external personnel. Able to communicate or present to the whole product team and occasionally across products. Interacts with and influences other groups on same product and cross product groups. Conducts cross-department talks/demos.
